Our responsibilities included:

  • Refreshing the company logo
  • Making sure the membership offering was appropriate for therapists and is good value for them
  • Developing new levels of membership 
  • Gaining more customers 
  • Managing and maintaining industry and consumer specific PR
  • Support on the NICE Guidelines Public Consultation

 

Key results:

  • In a move to update its 2004 guideline The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) proposed removing an entire section on complementary therapy services. Following a large number of response from FHT members during a public consultation with support from apt marketing, NICE confirmed that the 2004 guideline will be retained, without any changes. They also revealed that a new guideline will be developed on the service delivery element of the end of life care for adults.The FHT were absolutely delighted that NICE reversed their decision to produce new guidance on supportive and palliative care and we were very proud to be a part of it too.
